Commerce
The Department of Commerce has been providing practical-oriented, value-based quality education in the fields of Commerce and Management since 2005. The Department offers two Bachelor of Commerce degrees with specialization in Finance and Taxation and in Computer Application. In addition, the department offers Master of Commerce Programmes which intends to provide a foundation for students who plan to pursue their careers in business, commerce, accounting, etc. In the year 2020, Mahatma Gandhi University approved a Masters Programme in aided stream and the course Master of Commerce and Management was introduced.
The department organizes various group discussions, seminars, webinars, and workshops. The students are encouraged to attend various add- on courses, industrial visits, internship programmes, competitive exam coaching and mentoring provided by the department. Over the course of years, the Department of Commerce has provided management skills and expertise to students and strives to transform its girl students into empowered women. The department functions under the guidance of experienced and knowledgeable faculty members. The department is devoted for the holistic development and intellectual growth of its students.

Established in the year 2005, the Department of Commerce has completed 17 glorious years in its pursuit of excellence and has moulded young girls into ambitious women. We have always ensured that the students entrusted to our care are inculcated with high morale, spiritual values, and ethics.The Department seeks to combine excellence in education with service to the industry. We are having hard-working students, a young and dynamic faculty, whose expertise spans the range of disciplines in Commerce stream. I am confident that the students of the department would justify the credibility of the department by showing a high level of professional competence in their respective field.
